Delete Account

Option 1. Delete from the app (recommended)

Your account and associated data will be deleted automatically within 30 days.

1. Open the app and sign in to your account.
2. Go to the Profile section (bottom navigation).
3. Open Settings / Account management.
4. Select Delete account.
5. Confirm deletion by entering the verification code sent to your phone number.

Option 2. Request via email or WhatsApp

If you do not have access to the app, send an account deletion request to hello@1study.one or via WhatsApp at +7 747 777 34 04. Include:

• Phone number registered with the account.
• Email linked to the account (if any).
• Confirmation that you are the account owner (e.g. a photo of your ID — optional but speeds up verification).

What is deleted

• Profile (name, phone, email, date of birth, photo).
• Account credentials and sessions (login, tokens).
• Course, lesson, and quiz history.
• Uploaded homework files and submissions.
• Loyalty points, bonuses, leaderboard rank.
• Push subscriptions and email lists.
• Device data (push tokens, identifiers).

What is retained and why

Some data must be retained per the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and our payment providers:

• Payment and transaction history — 5 years (accounting compliance).
• Anonymized service access logs — 90 days (security).
• Active subscription data — until the end of the current billing cycle (App Store / Google Play refund handling).

Timeline

• Request is processed within 7 business days.
• Data is deleted within 30 days after confirmation.
• Legally retained data is deleted after 5 years.

Active subscriptions

If you have an active subscription paid through Apple App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel the subscription. Cancel it in:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → 1Study → Cancel.
• Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → 1Study → Cancel.
